Introduction
A prompt library built for designers. Stop wasting tokens, start getting structured, usable answers from AI
Yooo there is no prompt :(( sorry if you copied this.. lmao
Hey, I’m nobody.
AI has been everywhere for the past couple of years. We use it for everything — fixing grammar, rewriting our messy late-night sentences, brainstorming ideas, even writing stuff we don’t feel like writing ourselves. It’s become second nature at this point.
But here’s the thing I’ve noticed: somewhere along the way, we forgot how to work with it properly. We just type in some basic prompt, hit enter, and then wonder why the output feels useless. Then we keep re-prompting, editing, wasting tokens, wasting money, and worst of all — wasting time.
As a designer, I felt this pain even more. The design process has so many steps — research, ideation, wireframing, testing, handoff — but most of us don’t have them mapped out clearly in our heads. And because of that, we don’t always know how to leverage AI at each step. We just throw in vague prompts like “make this better” and hope it magically understands what we need. Spoiler: it doesn’t.
That’s why I built this.
This project is not just another random “list of prompts.” It’s a design-process-first prompt repo. Every single stage of the design process is broken down into tailored prompts that actually get the best out of AI. Instead of wasting hours trying to figure out what to type, you can just pick the right prompt, drop it in, and get structured, useful answers you can plug straight into your work.
I built this to save myself — and other designers like me — from endless cycles of frustration. To make AI a proper collaborator, not just a chatbot you yell at when you’re stuck.
So here’s the deal: don’t just use AI. Talk to it properly. Prompt with intent. Get 100% out of it.
🛠️ How to Use
Alright, so you’ve landed here and you’re probably thinking: “Cool, a prompt repo… but what do I actually do with this thing?”
Don’t worry, it’s simple.
Pick your stage.
The design process has a ton of steps — research, ideation, wireframes, testing, handoff, all the way to launch. Each section in this repo is mapped to one of those stages. Find the one you’re currently working on.
Grab the right prompt.
Inside each stage, I’ve written ready-to-use prompts. They’re not generic “make this better” nonsense. These are tailored to squeeze proper, structured answers from AI. Copy the one that matches what you need.
Drop it into ChatGPT (or whatever AI tool you use).
Paste it in. Add your project context where it says [describe your domain/product/idea]. The more specific you are, the better the output. AI isn’t psychic — context is everything.
Use it in your workflow.
The responses you get are already formatted to plug into your documentation, slides, or design files. No messy editing, no “AI waffle.”
Iterate, don’t babysit.
If the first answer doesn’t nail it, tweak your context a little — not the whole prompt. That’s the beauty of this repo: the prompts do the heavy lifting, you just supply the details.
